IbaadU ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of the personal and business information of our buyers, vendors, and website visitors. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
Account information
When you register as a buyer or vendor, we collect business name, contact name, business email, phone number, country, trade-licence number, and (for vendors) supporting documentation needed to verify your business.
Transaction information
For each Procurement Request, quote, and order, we record the parties involved, the products, quantities, prices, and shipping information. Payment data is processed by our regulated payment providers — IbaadU does not store full card numbers.
Usage information
We collect anonymous analytics on page visits, search queries, and platform usage to improve the service. We use first-party cookies and privacy-respecting analytics only.
2. How We Use Information
- To operate the marketplace, match buyers to vendors, and process orders
- To verify vendor identity and trade licences
- To send transactional communications (quotes, orders, shipment updates)
- To improve search ranking, recommendations, and platform features
- To comply with legal and regulatory obligations
3. Sharing of Information
We share information only with: counter-parties to your transactions (buyer ↔ vendor); regulated payment, logistics, and verification providers we contract with; and authorities where legally required. We do not sell personal data.
4. Data Security
All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3 / HTTPS). Personal data is encrypted at rest. Access is restricted to authorised personnel and audited. We follow OWASP, GDPR, and UAE Personal Data Protection Law best practices.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email privacy@ibaadu.com.
6. Cookies
We use essential first-party cookies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and measure how the site is used. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings.
